Why this should be the Eighth Wonder
The Great Wall of China should be the eighth wonder for several reasons. It is an example of an amazing architectual feat, and is the longest manmade structure in the world at 5,500 miles. It is a Great Wonder of the World, but it should also be a Wonder of the Ancient World because it was built in ancient times. It was even more amazing back then because it was built without all the technology that we have today, and it had to be built by hand because they didn't have machines. The wall made China itself a fortress, and made it possible for the country to prosper. Today, it is a symbol of China's past dynasties, because so many of them took part in building it.
